Keller Williams Danville Team Meeting

san ramon real eststeThanks to the Danville Womens Club for the use of their facility and to Cheryl Herrera and Land America Title for their support.

Bright and early on Monday mornings is when the crew of Realtors and real estate agents from the Keller Williams Danville, CA office gather for their weekly team meeting. Team meetings cover new listings, wants & needs, oohs and ahs, ongoing training, and timely info on changes happening in the community and the real estate industry.

san ramon condoHere is Tracey Harper of The Harper Team presenting a new condo listing at 450 Bollinger Canyon Lane in San Ramon. It’s in the Siena HIlls complex behind the Sports Club. The Harper Team has another condo listed in the same complex.

Listing presentations are one of the major factors in getting a property sold fast. Sellers that go the FSBO (for sale by owner) route miss out on the power of networking that happens between real estate agents.

keller williams realty danvilleWe had a panel of successful agents in our office relate share the secrets of their success.  Some of the same phrases kept being repeated: passion, committment, steadfastness, and get to know people. Derick Vallance advised everyone to run for Mayor as he is. It will be quite the contest next election day! Actually, he meant get out and meet yor neighbors – burn some shoe leather. It must be working as he has so much business he’s giving some away to Keith Brown.

Keller Williams Danville Greeters

ellen.jpgIf you call Keller Williams in Danville, CA, the first words you will here are, “It’s a great day at Keller Williams…” The voice behind the message will be one of these professional members of our local staff:

Ellen Boyer – has been with Keller Williams two years.

Hope Ford – has been with KW for three years.

hope.jpgNeither worked in real estate prior to joining KW Danville and both swear to me that they love it here. I asked each to give me the low-down on Kristin White, our team leader, and this is the juicy stuff they revealed:

  • Kristin is a great dresser and has lovely shoes
  • Kristin is a real sweetheart and lovely to work with

I guess I will have to go elsewhere for National Enquirer meat.

In my few short months at Keller Williams, I have found Ellen and Hope to be cheerful, wonderful people to work with. They are always ready to assist others and they are the perfect people to have at the front desk to greet our clients and staff.

The Harper Team is ready to help you with all of your real estate needs in the San Ramon Valley. You can find weekly updates on local real estate market trends at our site as well as local insight into our communities via our blog.

Realtors Marketing Association Kicks off New Year

This morning was the first meeting of the year for the San Ramon / Danville Realtors Marketing Association. The meeting was well attended with high energy and great expectations for 2007.

I didn’t have my camera ready when Will Doerlich held up his Chuck Miller face mask. Will replaces Chuck this year as VP for the RMA. Linda Kralik returns in her position of president, while Nate Womack and Dan Gross are doing the heavy lifting of Sergeants at Arms. CarolPeterson is the secretary for 2007 and Kim Pettigrew returns as treasurer.

I am going to be assisting the Realtors Marketing Association this year with some public relations work and I hope to build more exposure for the RMA on the Internet. The Sentinel, a local weekly serving Danville, San Ramon and Alamo, CA., may do an article on the RMA. The RMA supports many local charities.

I had not realized how much local real estate agents are involved in supporting local charities. It’s the reason I decided to get involved with the RMA’s PR – I don’t think most local residents are aware of it either.

I’m writing this post as I sit open house at our new condo listing and I am writing a post for my Active Rain blog at the same time.

I’ve been a little lax with postings to this blog as I have been very busy with the AR blog and The Harper Team blog. I’ll be getting some posts up on this site introducing some of our staff at KW and now that the RMA is back in full swing, I’ll have a weekly update their meetings.
